What is the largest design size you can stitch?
      The largest size hoop I own is 14” x 14”. However, it requires splitting the design into two parts and is not suitable for some applique designs.

What is your turnaround time on an order?
     My turnaround time varies depending on the number of orders ahead of yours, the quantity needed, and other factors such as the availability of garments or other supplies.  My average turnaround time is 3-10 calendar days. I have occasionally done a 24-hour turnaround, but not often.

Do you accept single-item orders?  How much do you charge to embroider one item?
     Yes, I accept single-item orders.  There are also discounts available for embroidery on multiple items.  A complete price list can be viewed here.

What is digitizing? Can you embroider something from artwork or a drawing?

Yes. I will need to digitize it first. Digitizing is the process of creating a file that the embroidery machine can read and execute, and is required to have any file stitched from artwork or a drawing. Depending on the complexity/size of the original artwork or design, digitizing can be simple or complex, and the fee to digitize a design may vary from $20 on up.

      I prefer vector images for digitizing because of their scalability, small file size, and editability.  Vector formats include EMF, WMF, EPS, and CDR.

Do I get to keep the digitized file?
     No. The digitizing fee is a one-time fee. It covers the digitizing service, not the digitized file itself. If you want to pay for the digitized file, the cost is $125, regardless of file size.  The files on this website have already been digitized.

I already have a digitized file in a different embroidery file format. What file format do you use in your embroidery machine?
     I use the .pes format in my machine, but I have the capability to convert files from other formats.

Can you sew on the bill of a baseball cap?
     No. That type of embroidery is done during the construction phase of the baseball cap. It would require deconstructing and reconstructing the hat, which is outside the scope of my abilities.

Can you put information on the back of a hat?
     Yes, but there are limits on how much can be put on the hat and the size of the lettering.

I want to change the colors of the designs.  Can I do that?
Yes, at no charge.

Do you embroider on customer-provided garments?
     Yes.  In very few instances an error will occur that is beyond my control. Please be aware that I cannot replace customer-provided garments. You will need to sign a waiver when I accept your garment/item.
